This often involves altering found and personal objects, displacing their focus from the practical to the aesthetic, whilst asking us to consider the complexities of contemporary society and the impact that is has on us.Although textiles are my first love and solace, I am increasingly interested in social engagement and collaboration with others. By inviting others to contribute, art encourages people to explore their own responses, promotes discussion and fosters a sense of community.
