Witness was a performance created for Unstable Monuments an immersive contemporary art exhibition held in April 2022 at the former Bridwell Street Magistrates' Court and cells in Bristol.

​Drawing on memories from my previous career, when I was occasionally required to obtain warrants through the court, the performance reflected on the role of the witness.

It considered how those present in the courtroom, whether directly involved or not, bore witness to moments that could profoundly alter another person's life.
